HOW DO I APPLY FOR AN ISMAYA FRANCHISE?
It all starts with the Franchise enquiry form which has been attached along with this
FAQ, where we get to know each other a bit better. If your criteria match ours, then
we will move on to the next stage and set up a personal interview to get to know
each other even better.

HOW MUCH DOES A FRANCHISE COST?
Once we have moved on to the personal interview stage we will provide detailed
figures relating to cost, fees and such. We can however tell you that you should
have a minimum capital of 500K USD available at the start.

DO I NEED F&B EXPERIENCE TO OWN AN ISMAYA FRANCHISE?
While we prefer that our partners have experience in the F&B business or have
managed a related business, it is not essential and will not be the deciding factor in
whether the franchise is granted or not. We do however insist that the person who
will be managing the daily operations has a solid F&B background. Therefore we
recommend that if you are not going to be an “Owner Operator†that you source a
qualified operations manager to partner with.

WHAT ARE THE CRITERIA FOR AN ISMAYA FRANCHISEE?
While there is obviously a financial criteria that needs to be met, it’s more important
to us that our partners share our passion for our brands and that a synergy exists
whereby a long term relationship can be fostered. The ideal ISMAYA franchisee has
a proven track record in managing a multi facet business successfully and an
established network within the business community of the region they are applying
for. A natural ability to develop people is a definite advantage.

WHERE ARE FRANCHISES AVAILABLE?
ISMAYA Franchises are available all over Indonesia, outside of Jakarta and Bali, as
well as many countries in the South East Asian region. We are open to discuss any
country outside of this geographical area and will consider all such applications
based on merit as well as the potential to open multiple business units.

DOES ISMAYA HAVE A TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR FRANCHISEES?
We have comprehensive training programs for all positions that exist in our
restaurant operations and training provided will take place in Jakarta as well as on
site.
